Social Work Theory: Your Critical Friend

App Icon - Social Work Theory App, Kirwin Maclean AssociatesThe app consists of a number of interactive sections. A range of content is provided on social work theories and on critically reflective practice. The user can enter information about their own practice and the context of their work and content which directly links to this will be provided.

The app will be useful to social work students and practice educators / field instructors. It will also be of use for more experienced practitioners to keep theory on the professional agenda.

Content is regularly updated and is designed to appeal to users at various stages of their social work career - for example, information is provided on reflective supervision in social work.

Users can pose questions and can directly contact Siobhan Maclean, who has provided training and has written about social work theory and critical reflection for many years.
