This handout contains questions based around a number of scenarios exploring some of the ethical issues of using social media in social work.
It is designed to complement the Social Work Social Media App by Tarsem Singh Cooner.
The questions would work well for practice educators exploring the ethical challenges with students who maybe don't have access to the app, or might allow for some reflective writing in between supervision sessions and provide pointers for discussion as students consider the potential impact of using social media on their day-to-day social work practises.
